I am a photographer and visual artist based in Puglia (Italy). My work begins with observation. I am drawn to space, light, surfaces, geometry and the small details that often remain unnoticed. Through photography I look for what is essential within a scene and for what can disappear without changing its meaning. My visual research moves between architecture, materiality, abstraction and human presence. It’s shaped by a broader practice that includes photography, generative art and audiovisual experimentation and by an ongoing interest in how perception changes when familiar elements are isolated, reduced or removed from their expected context. The same way of looking informs my commissioned work. I photograph architecture, interiors, hospitality, food and people not simply to describe them, but to interpret the relationships between space, matter, light and experience. I am particularly interested in projects where design is not decoration but part of a wider identity: places, objects and experiences created with intention. For me personal research and commissioned photography are not separate practices. They are different expressions of the same question: What is essential and what can be removed?
Based in Puglia, I work worldwide.
